We are seeking a motivated and dynamic remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team out of Berwyn, PA. The SDR will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by generating and qualifying leads, setting appointments, and supporting the sales team. Responsibilities 

  • Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, industry events, and networking.  

  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to engage potential clients and introduce them to Sovereign Insurance Group's services.  

  • Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they meet the company's target customer profile.  

  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handoff of information.  

  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and leads in the company's CRM system.  

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and refine lead generation strategies and campaigns.  

  • Follow-up: Conduct follow-up communication with potential clients to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.  

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation activities, progress, and results to management.  

Requirements 

  • Valid Property & Casualty License   

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the insurance industry. 

  • 1-2 years of experience prospecting and using prospecting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.  

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation tools.  

  • Remote out of CT, DE, FL, LA, PA, NJ, SC, or TX

  • Salary: $50,000-60,000 annually. 

  • Earn 8% new business commission for every lead you generate that results in a closed sale by the sales team.
